we got tickets for dodgers opening day down in san diego. we drove down the morning before and stayed in the marriott in la jolla. we did some shopping in carlsbad, did some swimming in the indoor pool,(which my kids thought was awesome), ate some yummy food at bj's pizzeria, drafted fantasy baseball teams, (yes me too), slept in, visited friends by the bay, went to the game, missed 4 innings because they double booked our seats, finally got seated, enjoyed the game, got free tickets after for another game in july with better seats, drove home watching and singing along with mama mia. all in all it was a fun trip.
