spring break in dana point part 1

for another spring break we spent it at the beach.   here's what we did:

huddled in the cold

layed out under the sun

roasted marshmellows

played lots of card games

got dirty----really dirty

read an entire book

slept in

hosted Good Friends

rediscovered a old fave restaurant in San Juan

learned the Hanna Montana Hoedown Throwdown

took my intake of cactus cooler to a new level

got really sunburned

HAD A FANTASTIC TIME AND CAN'T WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN NEXT YEAR!!!!!!

we hosted the burkes on tuesday.  and it got sooo cold at one point.  but nico and christian were determined to swim.  so they swam and we bundled up and watched them.  so here's miss jennie.  she was the only one not all bundled up, it's those pregnancy hormones.

ok, so at one point the boys lost a bucket in the ocean so dan ran in and got it.  i would have let it go, but dan is a better parent than i.  sorry dan to expose your stomach on my blog. but i couldn't resist

flip flops and the beach, does it get better?

2 things: 

1: here is nico freezing his b***** off, to show how cold it was

2: he fell earlier that day while skateboarding and demolished his face.  hard core.

the infamous heater that kept us warm on the beach....incedently nico ran into said heater the next day and burned his arm.

here is his face, and he had this flower stuck in his hair and he couldn't get rid of it.  so i had to snap it.
